Coastal Plains Provides Residential Services in group homes and as part of the Home and Community
Based Program.
Homes. Coastal Plains operates one group home for persons with multiple physical disabilities.
This program provides participants with the opportunity to live and participate in the communtiy.
Services include training in the use of adaptive equipment that allows greater control of their
enviroment, mobility, and speech.
Home & Community Based Services (HCS). The program emphasizes consumer choice and features
individualized services to meet each person's needs. The consumer selects where he/she would like
to live and is assisted in accessing an array of services that are available to others in the
community. This program provides the consumer the opportunity to develop and maintain skills
necessary to successful community placement.
