RESPITE CARE
Respite Care is a temporary stay at one of our respite sites to provide the family with some
relief from their daily care giving responsibilities. Individuals are provided with assistance
and supervision with their activities of daily living, medications and money management.
The length of a respite stay can vary from a few hours to a month. Coastal Plains also provides
funds for families to purchase in-home respite services. Coastal Plains
operates one Respite House.
