Medication Services, Crisis Stabilization & Community Based Crisis Residential or Hospital
Periodic follow-up to monitor the effectiveness of medication(s) is provided by our Medication
Services. Staff work to ensure that undesirable side effects are minimized and that medication
is, in fact, being taken as perscribed. Monitoring may take place in the home.
Crisis Stabilization provides 24-hour residential services that are usually short-term
and are offered to persons who are demonstrating psychiatric crisis.
Community Based Crisis Residential or Hospital provides services to the Coastal Bend area
through a contract with Christus Spohn-Memorial in Corpus Christi. This program also utilizes
San Antonio State Hospital and Rio Grande State Center in events when hospitalization is
necessary.
